Sand - Gravel Mixes
Sand - Gravel mixes are used for light duty basic concrete. Examples: sidewalks, patios, basement floors, and footings.
Limestone Mixes
Limestone mixes are used for medium to heavy duty concrete and have a higher durability than sand & gravel mixes. The percentage of limestone
varies to the needs of your project. Low percentage examples: garage floors, foundation walls, light duty
driveways, and stoops. Higher percentage limestone examples: heavy duty garage floors,
heavy duty driveways, and heavy duty foundation walls.
Air / Non-Air Entrained Concrete
Air Entrained concrete is used for exterior flatwork concrete applications. Examples: driveways, sidewalks, stoops, patios, non-steeled troweled
garage floors.
Non-Air Entrained concrete is used for any concrete that will not be exposed to a
freeze/thaw cycle and/or is hard steel troweled. Examples: basement floors, steel troweled garage floors, walls, and
footings.
