Concepcion Ortiz has been promoted to Siouxland Concrete/Standard Ready Mix Companies’ operations manager position.

He will oversee the day-to-day operations for the company and will report to Doug Carroll.

Ortiz has been the Standard Ready Mix plant manager in Sioux City, Iowa, for the last 4 years. He came to Standard with 13 years of personnel management experience outside of the concrete industry.
