SAFETY DESK: When I SEE Something, I will STOP, and DO Something.

What about the safety of others?

The other day I was at the Westfair MX races shooting pictures for them.

It was a typical setup for a race track, including Corner Workers with yellow flags to help racers know there was a rider down or something wrong with the track so they could slow down.

It got me thinking about our work and our interactions with the public.

Wouldn't it be nice if there were Corner Workers out on the city streets and job sites to help us?

Well, I believe there are.

Those Corner Workers are us!

We have to continually watch the "race" and be ready to use the caution flag if something isn't right.

We don't have to be the first person to see it, but when we do, we need to DO something to make the "race" safer for us all.
